With every passing moment comes a whole new set of wedding plans...I can't even keep track of all the ideas we have had over the past two months! First we thought about having it on the beach at my cabin, and then we thought about Jamaica. Jack and I recently visited a Sandals seminar in the Kirkland area. It last about an hour and we were given a slideshow of all the Sandals resorts. I believe there are nearly 21 resorts altogether. We had no idea how extensive the resorts were. It was fun to learn about the history and all of the wonderful services that it has to offer. We were in awe from beginning to end. I envisioned an amazing trip full of fun, romance, and complete bliss. We knew that if we decided to go to Sandals for our weddingmoon that it would be difficult to fully appreciate the vacation as it was meant to be experienced...I wanted a relaxing vacation for Jack and I where we could just enjoy eachothers company and when I began to imagine a wedding smack dab in the middle of our vacation I started to question the idea altogether. I know many of our family and friends were dissapointed when we gave them our change of plans but please let me explain further.
There were many small details we didn't know beforehand. Such as, Sandals is entirely a couples only resort, no children allowed. We also found out that if people are to stay at a different hotel than Sandals they must pay nearly 100 dollars just to witness the ceremony. Last but not least, the prices are expensive. Well, we aren't going to lie, we knew the prices were expensive but we figured if we didn't have to pay for any food, drinks or entertainment then the idea of not worrying about money would be well worth it!
So, Jack and I have decided that maybe Sandals is not our ideal wedding location but a definate Honeymoon possibility. As of now that is the plan...
We have been thinking about a courthouse wedding, and I have heard many people request to witness it there as well. I know this is not nearly as romantic or amazing, but afterall I personally think our wedding day is about Jack and I. All I care about it sharing this day with him no matter where it is.
Again, our apologies. We can't seem to make up our minds...but one thing is for sure and that is we want to spend the rest of our lives together! =)

More on our engagement!
I decided to post more Canada pictures for everyone! I didn't find out where we were going until we got to the check in counter! I had never been to Victoria and had no idea what to expect!
It was a very tight squeeze into the seaplane but I didn't mind because the views were amazing!
We flew over Lake Washington towards Lake Union and then over Ballard! The flight was only 45 minutes. When we landed in Canada all of the hotels looked amazing and I couldn't wait to find out which one was ours! The weather was amazing the entire trip!
This is a park we walked to on our last day! It was beautiful!

Just starting to plan
Hey everyone!
If you haven't yet heard the great news, Jack and I became officially engaged on August 30th 2008! It was a wonderful surprise. He surprised me with a trip to Victoria, B.C. We traveled by Seaplane and it was incredible! Jack proposed the very same night we arrived and of course I said "yes!"
As of now, we have been trying to find the perfect date. First I thought of getting married on our anniversary but it turns out two years away wasn't close enough for anyone, ha ha. So once Jack and I decided that we really wanted to get married in Jamaica we had to find a non-hurricane season day. We have decided on Jamaica because Jack's parents are very fond of it and like to travel there often! While at the Seattle Wedding Expo I found out that if you get married at the Sandals Resort, the wedding is included in your stay! I jumped right one board. Why not get married and have our honeymoon all at once? Of course if anyone is interested in coming to the wedding, we do not expect everyone to stay at Sandals because it is a bit more expensive. Jack's parents often stay at Rondel Village where airfare and hotel prices are much more reasonable.
As of now our wedding date in my 25th Birthday - Dec. 19th 2009! This way we are sure to be hurricane free and no one will be in school! We are welcoming everyone to be there as well! Of course invitations will be out eventually.
Nothing is permanently set is stone, but I really hope these plans will work! That is it for now. I will keep everyone posted!
